DETAILED ITINERARY:
HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (MEALS: NOT INCLUDED)

The journey begins in the morning in Ho Chi Minh City, where guests meet a local guide and depart for Cu Chi by private air-conditioned vehicle.

Leaving the city behind, the route passes through the rural outskirts of southern Vietnam, with scenes of rice fields, villages and everyday local life along the way.

Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels, guests spend time exploring the site with a local guide, learning how residents built an intricate underground network during the French and American Wars.

During the visit, guests may observe tunnel entrances, small underground chambers and other spaces once used for daily life and wartime survival. The guide shares stories of endurance and ingenuity, offering insight into how local residents adapted to extremely difficult conditions.

Above ground, the visit continues with a look at defensive features such as bamboo traps, camouflaged pits and other techniques used during the war.

Throughout the tour, the guide also explains the wider impact of war on the local community and on Vietnam as a whole.

After the visit, the journey returns to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrival back at the hotel is expected in the early afternoon, depending on traffic conditions.
