✨ DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY 0: ARRIVAL IN VIET QUANG (HA GIANG) [_/ _/ _]
Guests travel independently from Hanoi or other major cities (Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang…) to Viet Quang Town the day before the tour begins.
We arrange an overnight stay in Viet Quang so you can rest before the adventure. Our team can also help book sleeper buses with multiple departure times (07:00, 12:00, 16:00, 21:00).
This ensures you arrive safely and are well-rested for your Hoang Su Phi journey.
DAY 1: VIET QUANG – NAM KHOA MAM XOI HILL – NAM HONG VILLAGE [B/ L/ D]
After breakfast, meet your guide and start the journey west into the mountains. Along the way, you pass through peaceful Tay and Dao villages shaded by palm trees.
By late morning, arrive at Mam Xoi Hill (Nam Khoa), a breathtaking terrace viewpoint considered the new icon of Hoang Su Phi. Lunch is served with sweeping views of endless rice fields.
In the afternoon, explore the Nam Hong terraces, famous for their horseshoe shape and stilt houses scattered among the hills. Join locals in catching rice-field carp—a traditional activity that turns into dinner later that evening.
Check into a Dao homestay in Nam Hong Village, enjoy a hearty family-style dinner, and spend the night in fresh mountain air.

DAY 2: BAN LUOC – BAN PHUNG – COC PAI TOWN [B/ L/ D]
After breakfast, head deeper into Hoang Su Phi’s legendary terrace landscapes.
Ban Luoc: vast valleys of terraced rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see, with waterfalls flowing between the hillsides.

Ban Phung: home of the La Chi people, known as the “village in the clouds.” This peaceful village is one of the most beautiful and untouched places in Ha Giang.
By late afternoon, transfer to Coc Pai Town (Xin Man) for dinner and rest.

DAY 3: SUOI THAU STEPPE – FAIRY WATERFALL – RETURN TO VIET QUANG [B/ L/ _]
After breakfast, travel to the Suoi Thau Steppe, a vast highland plain stretching across hundreds of hectares. Depending on the season, it is either lush green with rice or glowing pink with buckwheat blossoms—earning it the nickname “the Mongolian steppe of Vietnam.”
After lunch in Coc Pai, continue to the Fairy Waterfall (Thac Tien). Walk through bamboo forests to reach this spectacular twin cascade, among the most beautiful waterfalls in western Ha Giang.
By late afternoon, return to Viet Quang Town. Guests may choose an early sleeper bus (16:30–17:00) to Hanoi or an overnight bus (21:00) to reach Hanoi and other cities by the following morning.
