DAY 1: HANOI - HA GIANG CITY (MEALS: LUNCH, DINNER)
Hanoi to Ha Giang City: approx. 300 km | 5 - 5.5 hrs
Depart Hanoi in the morning and travel north toward Ha Giang Province. The scenery gradually transitions from the Red River Delta into the characteristic limestone mountains of northern Vietnam.
A short comfort stop is arranged along the way.
Arrive in Ha Giang in the early afternoon, then continue to An Châng Retreat, a boutique hideaway nestled in a peaceful natural setting. Check in and relax after the journey.
The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and enjoy the surrounding greenery, mountain scenery, and quiet atmosphere of the retreat.

DAY 2: AN CHÂNG RETREAT - TWIN FAIRY MOUNTAINS - VUONG FAMILY PALACE - DONG VAN (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Ha Giang City to Dong Van Old Quarter: approx. 145 - 155 km | 5 - 6 hrs
08:30 - After breakfast in the peaceful mountain setting of An Châng Retreat, the journey continues deeper into the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
The route climbs over Bac Sum Pass, the gateway to the plateau where dramatic limestone formations begin to dominate the landscape. Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate at approximately 1,500 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views over Tam Son Valley and the famous Twin Fairy Mountains.
The journey then continues through Yen Minh Pine Forest, where winding mountain roads pass through cool and refreshing highland scenery.
Lunch is served en route.
14:00 - In the afternoon, visit the Vuong Family Palace, also known as the Hmong King’s Palace. Built in the early 20th century by Vuong Chinh Duc, this stone-and-timber complex once served as the political and economic centre of a powerful highland domain. Located along historic trade routes between Vietnam and China, the palace reflects a period when the Dong Van Plateau played an important role in regional commerce. Its architecture combines traditional Hmong craftsmanship with subtle Chinese influences.
17:30 - Arrive in Dong Van Old Quarter in the late afternoon. Guests may stroll along the ancient stone streets or relax at a local café.

Vuong Family Palace
DAY 3: MA PI LENG PASS - WHITE CLIFF TRAIL HIKE - NHO QUE & TU SAN (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Dong Van Old Quarter to Meo Vac: approx. 25 km | 1 - 1.5 hrs
07:00 - Start the day with breakfast before wandering through the early morning local market, then depart Dong Van for one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Southeast Asia: Ma Pi Leng Pass. The road clings dramatically to the cliffs above Tu San Canyon, offering breathtaking views of the Nho Que River far below.
09:30 - The journey continues to the White Cliff ridge trail near Ma Pi Leng Pass for a scenic hike of approximately 6 km from the Youth Volunteer Monument viewpoint. With panoramic mountain views across the Tu San Canyon and the Nho Que River far below, and a well-paced route, this light to moderate walk is ideal for active travelers seeking an immersive nature experience in Ha Giang.

14:30 - In the afternoon, descend to the Nho Que River for a boat excursion through Tu San Canyon, considered the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. From the water, towering limestone walls rise steeply on both sides, creating an unforgettable landscape. Later, transfer to your homestay in Meo Vac (Chung Pua Homestay) for check-in. Built in traditional earthen-house style, the homestay blends authentic highland architecture with comfortable modern amenities. The peaceful setting offers a chance to experience local life in a quiet mountain village.

Ma Pi Leng Viewpoint
DAY 4: MEO VAC - M-SHAPED CURVES - QUAN BA (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Meo Vac to H'Mong Village, Quan Ba: approx. 120 km | 3.5 - 4 hrs
07:00 - Enjoy breakfast at the homestay, then guests may visit the vibrant Meo Vac Sunday Market if the journey falls on a Sunday. This is one of the largest ethnic markets in the Ha Giang region, where communities from surrounding mountain villages gather to trade livestock, produce, textiles, and handmade goods.
08:00 - Leaving Meo Vac, the journey continues south along a scenic mountain road toward Mau Due. Along the way, several photo stops are made at spectacular viewpoints, including the famous M-shaped curves overlooking deep valleys.
Lunch is served in Mau Due - Yen Minh.
After lunch, continue toward Quan Ba Valley, where the landscape gradually softens into terraced fields, corn farms, and quiet mountain villages.
Arrive in Quan Ba in the late afternoon. Check in and relax at the valley retreat.
The remainder of the day is at leisure.

M-shaped curves
DAY 5: QUAN BA - HA GIANG CITY - HANOI CITY (MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
H'Mong Village, Quan Ba to Ha Giang City: approx. 50 km | 1.5 - 2 hrs
Ha Giang City to Hanoi City: approx. 300 km | 5 - 5.5 hrs
Free time at leisure until check-out. Guests will then transfer back to Ha Giang City for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, travel back to Hanoi via expressway as the scenery gradually transitions from mountain landscapes to the Red River Delta.
Arrival in Hanoi is expected in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic conditions.
