DAY 0: TRAVEL TO HA GIANG CITY (MEALS: ON YOUR OWN)
Guests travel independently to Ha Giang City before the tour departure. Upon arrival, Nomadic Soul Travel provides one complimentary dormitory night at our rest area in Ha Giang, allowing travelers to relax and prepare before the journey officially begins. For guests traveling from Hanoi or other major cities, Nomadic Soul Travel can assist with booking VIP sleeper buses to Ha Giang with flexible departure times at 07:00, 12:00, 16:00, and 21:00.

DAY 01: HA GIANG – THON THA VILLAGE – KHAU LAN WATERFALL – TWIN FAIRY MOUNTAINS – NAM DAM (B / L/ D)
The journey begins in Ha Giang City, where guests meet the guide and receive a short introduction before setting out into the northern highlands.
The first part of the day offers a gentle introduction to local life in Ha Giang with a walk through Thon Tha - Ha Thanh, two peaceful Tay villages surrounded by rice fields, green hills, and clear mountain streams. Traditional stilt houses with palm-leaf roofs sit quietly in the valley, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
After lunch in Quan Ba, the journey continues with a short forest walk to Khau Lan Waterfall. Hidden among tropical greenery, the waterfall is reached by a light trek through shaded forest paths. Here, guests may relax, take photographs, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool mountain water.
Later in the afternoon, the road climbs toward the gateway of the Dong Van Karst Plateau, with scenic stops at Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, and the famous Twin Fairy Mountains.
By late afternoon, arrive in Nam Dam village, home to the Dao ethnic community. Known for its traditional earthen houses and rich cultural identity, the village offers a peaceful setting for the evening. Dinner is served at the homestay, and guests may enjoy the quiet rhythm of life in this mountain community.

DAY 02: SAO HA VILLAGE – THAM MA PASS – LAO XA SILVER VILLAGE – VUONG FAMILY PALACE – LO LO CHAI (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast at the homestay, the journey continues deeper into the limestone landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
The morning begins with a visit to Sao Ha village, an ancient Hmong settlement hidden among the mountains and forest. Small and remote, the village carries an atmosphere of mystery and history, and has become known in recent years as the filming location for several Vietnamese productions.
From here, the road leads onward to Tham Ma Pass, one of the most iconic mountain roads in Ha Giang. Its winding curves cut dramatically through the karst landscape, offering one of the region’s most recognizable views.
Lunch is served in Pho Cao.
In the afternoon, guests visit Lao Xa village, where the traditional craft of handmade silver jewelry is still preserved by the Hmong community. The village itself is beautiful and quiet, set among rocky hills and open plateau scenery.
The journey then continues to the Vuong Family Palace, also known as the Hmong King’s Palace. This historic residence offers insight into the power, culture, and architectural style of the Vuong family and the Hmong people of the Dong Van Plateau.
By late afternoon, arrive in Lo Lo Chai village, a charming settlement at the foot of Lung Cu Flag Tower. Guests may walk through the village, observe local daily life, and settle into the peaceful surroundings before dinner.

DAY 03: LUNG CU FLAG TOWER – NORTHERNMOST POINT – MA PI LENG PASS – WHITE CLIFF HIKE – PA VI (B/ L/ D)
The day begins with breakfast at the homestay before continuing toward one of the most symbolic points in Vietnam.
A visit to Lung Cu Flag Tower offers sweeping views across the border landscape and marks the northernmost frontier of the country. Nearby, guests also stop at the northernmost point, where the Nho Que River first enters Vietnamese territory.
Later, the journey returns toward Dong Van for lunch, followed by time to stroll through the old quarter and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic frontier town.
In the afternoon, the road leads toward the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Vietnam. From here, guests begin a scenic hike along the White Cliff Trail, a striking route that follows the limestone ridge high above the valley floor. The trail offers panoramic views over Ma Pi Leng, Tu San Canyon, and the emerald Nho Que River, with several memorable viewpoints along the way including dramatic cliffs, unusual rock formations, and open mountain vistas.
By late afternoon, arrive at Pa Vi Cultural Village in Meo Vac. With its distinctive Hmong-inspired layout and peaceful setting, the village offers a relaxing end to the day. Guests may enjoy a gentle walk before dinner and overnight at the homestay.

Ma Pi Leng View
DAY 04: NHO QUE RIVER – MEO VAC SINKHOLE – TIA CUA SI – NIA DO BAMBOO FOREST – MEO VAC (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, the journey continues with one of the most memorable natural experiences of Ha Giang.
Guests descend toward the Nho Que River for a boat excursion through the magnificent Tu San Canyon, where towering limestone walls rise dramatically above the emerald water. This is one of the most iconic landscapes in all of northern Vietnam.
Lunch is served in Meo Vac town with traditional highland specialties.
In the afternoon, the route leads to the Meo Vac geological sinkhole, one of the largest of its kind in Ha Giang. The landscape here is both dramatic and unexpected, with rich vegetation hidden within the vast limestone depression.
The journey then continues along the remote Tia Cua Si mountain road. Running deep through the plateau, this route reveals expansive views over the Nho Que valley and distant mountain ridges near the Vietnam–China border. Along the way, the road passes isolated Hmong villages clinging to the mountainsides.
A final stop is made at the Nia Do bamboo forest, a quiet pocket of greenery set within the rugged karst landscape.
By late afternoon, return to Meo Vac for dinner and overnight at the homestay.

Nho Que River – Tu San Canyon
DAY 05: M-SHAPED CURVES – BAN AN STREAM – DU GIA VILLAGE (B/ L/ D)
The morning begins in Meo Vac. If the journey coincides with the weekend, guests may experience the lively Meo Vac market, where communities from across the highlands gather to trade, meet, and socialize.
Leaving Meo Vac behind, the road winds southward through the mountains with photo stops at the famous M-shaped curves, one of the most photographed sections of the Ha Giang Loop.
Lunch is enjoyed beside Ban An Stream, surrounded by peaceful nature.
In the afternoon, guests experience bamboo rafting along the clear waters of Ban An Stream. The route drifts gently upstream through a serene landscape toward Tham Lin Cave, offering a different and quieter perspective on Ha Giang’s natural beauty.
Later in the day, arrive in Du Gia village, a peaceful Tay community surrounded by mountains and rice fields. Guests may walk through the village and enjoy the gentle pace of local life before dinner and overnight at the homestay.

DAY 06: DU GIA WATERFALL – LUNG TAM LINEN VILLAGE – HA GIANG CITY (B/ L)
The final day begins in the peaceful countryside of Du Gia.
A visit to Du Gia Waterfall offers time to relax in one of the most refreshing natural settings of the region. Surrounded by forest and cool mountain air, the waterfall provides a calm and memorable final nature stop of the journey.
Lunch is served in the Duong Thuong area.
In the afternoon, the route continues back toward Ha Giang City through the scenic landscapes of Duong Thuong and Thai An, passing valleys, streams, and mountain villages along the way.
Before returning to Ha Giang, guests visit Lung Tam linen weaving village, where the Hmong community preserves the traditional art of hemp weaving. Here, visitors can learn about the many stages involved in creating linen fabric and better understand its cultural significance in local life.
By late afternoon, arrive back in Ha Giang City. Guests may rest and freshen up at the tour office before continuing their onward journey by sleeper bus if needed.
