CONCISE ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI TO LAO CAI (MEALS: NOT INCLUDED)

Begin the journey from Hanoi with the classic overnight train experience to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa and the mountainous northwest of Vietnam.

DAY 2: LAO CAI, HIGHLAND ETHNIC MARKET AND SAPA (MEALS: B / L)

Arrive in Lao Cai and continue into the highlands to visit one of the region’s colorful ethnic markets, depending on the travel date.

The market offers a lively introduction to local life, traditional costumes, mountain products, and the social rhythm of highland communities before the journey continues to Sapa Town.

DAY 3: SAPA, LAO CHAI, TA VAN AND MUONG HOA VALLEY (MEALS: B / L)

Spend the day exploring some of Sapa’s most iconic valley landscapes, where terraced rice fields, riverside trails, and traditional villages create a memorable highland walking experience.

The route offers opportunities to encounter local communities, learn about village life, and enjoy the natural beauty of Muong Hoa Valley.

DAY 4: SAPA HIGHLAND VALLEYS AND NAM CANG (MEALS: B / L)

Travel toward a quieter part of the Sapa region, where mountain scenery, rural roads, and ethnic villages reveal a more remote and less-visited side of the highlands.

The day combines scenic discovery with cultural encounters in selected villages around Thanh Phu, My Son, and Nam Cang.

DAY 5: SA SENG, SAU CHUA AND RETURN TO HANOI (MEALS: B)

Enjoy a final highland experience through the peaceful valleys of Sa Seng and Sau Chua, where traditional village life and mountain landscapes offer a quieter perspective on Sapa.

After the walk, return toward Lao Cai for the onward arrangement back to Hanoi, bringing the journey to a close.

Optional upgrade:
Guests may return to Hanoi by overnight train as included in the standard program. Alternatively, a private vehicle transfer back to Hanoi can be arranged as an optional upgrade for greater comfort and flexibility.
