DAY 0: ARRIVE IN HÀ GIANG CITY

Arrive in Hà Giang City before tour start. We provide 01 pre-tour dorm night for early arrivals. On request, Nomadic Soul Travel can arrange round-trip sleeper buses at 07:00 / 12:00 / 16:00 / 21:00, including “palace” cabin buses (single or double cabins).

DAY 1: HÀ GIANG – XÀ PHÌN VILLAGE – KHAU LÀN WATERFALL – NẬM ĐĂM VILLAGE [B/L/D]

07:30: Meet your guide at our Hà Giang office (early arrivals may rest in our dorm) or a designated pickup in town. Breakfast, then depart.

09:00: Xà Phìn Village: moss-covered stilt houses on the slopes of Tây Côn Lĩnh, ancient shan-tuyết tea hills, the lovely Nai Waterfall, and a spectacular amphitheater of rice terraces among Vietnam’s finest.

11:30: Lunch in Xà Phìn with highland Dao specialties.

14:00: Khau Làn Waterfall: gentle ~1 km rainforest trek to one of Hà Giang’s most pristine, untamed cascades. Time for photos and a refreshing stream dip (conditions permitting).

16:30: Arrive Nậm Đăm Village a cool climate cultural space of the Long-Dress Dao (Dao áo dài), renowned for living heritage like the Fire-Jumping and Cấp Sắc ceremonies. Dinner, culture exchange & overnight in Nậm Đăm.

DAY 2: LÙNG TÁM WEAVING VILLAGE – SẢO HÁ VILLAGE – LAO XA SILVERSMITHS – LÔ LÔ CHẢI [B/L/D]

07:00: Breakfast at the homestay or local restaurant.

08:30: Lùng Tám Linen Cooperative: discover 40+ steps of traditional hemp/linen making and its cultural meaning within H’Mông life.

10:00: Sảo Há Village (“Hell Village”): a secluded, centuries old H’Mông hamlet tied to Đồng Văn bandit tales and filming sites of Vietnamese thrillers (Tết ở làng địa ngục, Kẻ ăn hồn, etc.).

11:30: Lunch in Phó Cáo – Đồng Văn.

13:00: Lao Xa Village: meet artisan silversmith families preserving hand-forged silver amid the stone desert.

16:00: Lô Lô Chải: photogenic Lô Lô village beneath Lũng Cú Flag Tower; slow village walk and local encounters.

16:30: Arrive Đồng Văn. Dinner & overnight; evening stroll through the lantern-lit Old Quarter (campfire & music when available).

DAY 3: WHITE CLIFF TRAIL – PHONG LƯU GORGE – PẢ VI VILLAGE [B/L/D]

07:00: Breakfast in the Old Quarter.

08:00: (Weekend only) Đồng Văn Market—a lively window into highland trade and culture.

09:00: Trailhead at the Youth Volunteers Monument for the White Cliff Trail (~6 km). Panoramic vistas over Mã Pì Lèng Pass, Nho Quế River, and Tu Sản Canyon; classic photo spots (cliff ledge, “happy twin tree”, “fairy’s eye” outcrop).

11:30: Lunch in Meo Vạc with traditional specialties.

14:00: Nho Que 3 Lake/Reservoir: motorboat into the serene Phong Luu Gorge, signature rock photo stop; optional kayaking and river swim (weather & safety permitting).

16:00: Arrive Pả Vi Mong Cultural Village—a tranquil, stone-walled village with a poetic “lục-bát” pattern layout. Easy village walk.

DAY 5: DU GIÀ WATERFALL – ĐƯỜNG THƯỢNG VALLEY – RETURN TO HÀ GIANG [B/L/-]

07:30: Breakfast at the homestay.

08:30: Du Gia Waterfall trek (~1 km) through cool forest to a refreshing pool; time for a dip (conditions permitting).

11:30: Lunch in Lũng Hồ – Yên Minh.

14:00: Drive the Mậu Duệ – Đường Thượng – Thuận Hòa scenic backroad; stops at Lũng Hồ Outpost, Đường Thượng Valley, and viewpoints.

16:00: Arrive Hà Giang City. Freshen up and rest at our office while awaiting your sleeper bus. Choose an afternoon or night bus to Hanoi (arrives early next morning).

Free time to explore Hà Giang City (own expense).
