DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY 0: ARRIVE IN HA GIANG CITY
Arrive in Ha Giang City before the tour. We provide 1 complimentary pre-tour dorm night for early arrivals. On request, we can arrange round-trip sleeper buses from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and more, with departures at 07:00 / 12:00 / 16:00 / 21:00.
DAY 01: HA GIANG - WHITE CLIFF TRAIL HIKE (B/L/D)
07:30: Meet your guide at our Ha Giang office (early arrivals may rest in our dorm) or at a designated city pick-up. Breakfast, trip briefing, then depart.
11:30: Lunch in Pho Cao (Dong Van). Short rest (~30 min), then continue to the trailhead.
14:00: From the Youth Volunteers Monument, begin the White Cliff Trail: a photogenic walk through H’Mong hamlets on the Dong Van Karst Plateau. The White Cliff balcony section offers sweeping views over Ma Pi Leng Pass, the Nho Que River, and Tu San Canyon. Photo stops at highlights such as the cliff ledge, the “Death Rock” viewpoint, and Ma Pi Leng summit outlook.

16:30: Arrive at a one of a kind cliffside camping/viewpoint area perched above Ma Pi Leng—jaw-dropping vistas and plenty of “wow” photo corners.
17:00: Transfer to Pa Vi (Meo Vac). Homestay check-in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 02: PHONG LUU GORGE - RETURN TO HA GIANG CITY (B/L/—)
06:30: Breakfast at the homestay.
07:00: Visit the vast Meo Vac Sinkhole, one of Ha Giang’s largest, with distinctive vegetation inside its wide karst rim.
08:00: Scenic drive toward Phong Luu Gorge on Nho Que 3, passing stone deserts and secluded H’Mong villages deep within the plateau.
09:30: Motorboat exploration of the Nho Que 3 reservoir: check in at the signature rock inside Phong Luu Gorge, enjoy kayaking, and take a refreshing swim in the emerald stretch of the Nho Que (all weather- & water-level permitting).
12:00: Lunch in Dong Van Town, then begin the return toward Ha Giang.
14:30: Drive the new Thuan Hoa – Thai An route, chasing seas of clouds and pausing at beautiful roadside waterfalls for photos.
17:00: Arrive Ha Giang City. Freshen up and rest at our office while awaiting your sleeper bus.
21:00: Board the sleeper bus back to Hanoi (or other connected provinces).
Free time to explore Ha Giang City on your own (optional, at own expense).
