The journey begins in Ha Giang City, where guests meet the guide and receive a short introduction before heading into the mountains.

The first stop is Thon Tha - Ha Thanh, two peaceful Tay villages known for their palm-roofed stilt houses, green rice fields, and gentle streams flowing through the valley. A walk through the village offers a calm and welcoming introduction to life in the northern highlands.

Later, the route continues toward Cao Ma Po, a remote border commune where Hoa communities have lived for generations. Guests can experience the distinct atmosphere of this frontier area, known for its peaceful villages, traditional homes, and, in spring, its soft landscapes of peach blossom. A stop is also made near border marker 291 at the Vietnam – China frontier.

Lunch is enjoyed in a local setting, where guests can taste Cao Ma Po beef hotpot, a dish with a strong Chinese culinary influence.

By late afternoon, the journey reaches Nam Dam village, a traditional Dao community known for its earthen houses, cool mountain air, and rich cultural heritage. Dinner is served at the homestay, where guests may enjoy the quiet pace of village life and the cultural atmosphere of the Dao people.

Overnight in Nam Dam village.

After breakfast, the journey continues into the village landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

The day begins with a visit to Sao Ha village, a hidden Hmong settlement tucked deep within the mountains and forest. Small and atmospheric, the village is known for its old houses, quiet setting, and local stories that have shaped its unusual identity. It has also become known as a filming location for several Vietnamese productions.

Lunch is served in Pho Cao.

In the afternoon, guests visit Lao Xa village, one of the most beautiful Hmong villages on the plateau and a place where the traditional craft of handmade silver jewelry is still preserved. The village offers a glimpse into both local craftsmanship and the distinctive architecture of Hmong highland communities.

Later, the journey continues to Lo Lo Chai village, a charming village at the foot of Lung Cu. Guests may stroll through the village, observe daily life, and settle into the homestay for the evening. Depending on guest preference, the overnight stay may also be arranged in Then Pa village for a quieter and more secluded atmosphere.
