✨ DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 0: ARRIVE IN HA GIANG CITY
(Pre-tour arrival & rest day – no meals included)
Travel independently to Hà Giang before Day 1. We provide one free dorm night for early arrivals. VIP cabin sleeper buses (single/double) run from major cities at 07:00 / 12:00 / 16:00 / 21:00—round-trip booking support available.
DAY 1: HA GIANG – XA PHIN TRAILHEAD – TAY CON LINH BASE CAMP [B/L/D]
~10–12 km of trekking | Max elevation today: ~1,900m
Early morning (around 04:00): Arrive Hà Giang, shower and short rest at our base.
07:00: Depart for the Mào Phìn / Xa Phìn area—terraced amphitheaters, moss-covered roofs, and ancient Shan Tuyết tea groves.
08:30: Begin the Tay Con Linh approach: a steady trail through tropical forest, crossing stretches of pristine woodland and cardamom gardens beneath tall bamboo.
11:30: Forest lunch in a beautiful bamboo glade.
16:30: Reach the base camp area beside a rustic wooden hut at ~1,900m. Drop packs and stroll to a nearby crest for sunset cloud-hunting.
18:00: Return to camp for a warm outdoor dinner on the meadow beneath conifers and eucalyptus.
Overnight: Wooden hut or tent at Tay Con Linh base camp (double occupancy).
DAY 2: SUMMIT TAY CON LINH (2,428M) – DESCENT – RETURN TO HA GIANG [B/L/–]
~8–10 km of trekking | Elevation gain from camp: ~500–600m
05:30: Wake to alpine dawn, hot coffee/ginger tea, and a hearty breakfast.
07:00: Start the summit push through broad bamboo zones and a mystical corridor of ancient moss forest near the crest. In season, watch for maple reds and rhododendron blossoms lighting the ridge.
10:30: Summit Tay Con Linh (2,428m)—photos, a deep breath over the high border country.
11:00: Summit lunch; begin the descent to camp.
13:30: Back at the wooden hut: pack up and meet the motorbike pickup for the ride out to Mào Phìn.
16:00: Arrive Hà Giang City. Shower and rest at our office while we arrange your chosen bus:
— 16:30–17:00 sleeper for same-night arrival in Hanoi, or
— 21:00 overnight sleeper for an early-morning arrival.
