🗓️ Detailed Itinerary:
DAY 0: ARRIVE IN HA GIANG CITY
Arrive in Ha Giang City before the tour begins. We provide 01 pre-tour dorm night for early arrivals. On request, we can arrange round-trip sleeper buses at 07:00 / 12:00 / 16:00 / 21:00, including VIP “palace” cabin buses (single/double cabins).

DAY 1: HA GIANG – KHAU LAN WATERFALL – CAO MA PO BORDER VILLAGE – NAM DAM VILLAGE [B / L / D]
07:30: Meet your guide at our Ha Giang office (early arrivals may rest in our dorm) or a designated pick-up point. Trip briefing, breakfast, then depart.
09:00: Khau Lan Waterfall: an easy ~1 km rainforest walk to one of Ha Giang’s most majestic, untamed cascades. Time for photos and a refreshing stream dip (conditions permitting).

11:30: Lunch in an ethnic Hoa (Chinese-Vietnamese) community setting; taste the signature Cao Ma beef hotpot.
13:30: Explore Cao Ma Po, a quiet border commune nicknamed the “land of peaches.” Learn about architecture and daily life; when permitted, short visit toward the Viet–China border area with a photo chance at milestone 291.

16:30: Arrive Nam Dam Village, cultural space of the Long-Dress Dao (Dao áo dài), known for living heritage like fire-jumping and cấp sắc ceremonies (seasonal). Dinner, culture exchange & overnight in Nam Dam.

DAY 2: SAO HA “GHOST VILLAGE” – SANG TUNG STONE DESERT – LAO XA VILLAGE – DONG VAN [B / L / D]
07:00: Breakfast at the homestay.
09:30: Sao Ha (“Ghost Village”): a secluded, centuries-old H’mong hamlet tied to old Đồng Văn warlord stories and filming locations of Vietnamese thrillers.

11:30: Lunch in Pho Cao (Dong Van).
13:00: Backroad adventure deep into the Đồng Văn Karst Plateau, with a surreal stop at the Sảng Tủng rock desert photo time in this little known landscape.

14:00: Visit a traditional incense-making hamlet in Sảng Tủng to see how leaf-based incense is handcrafted as part of highland spiritual life.
15:00: Lao Xa Village: meet artisan families preserving hand-forged silver in a picturesque H’mong village amid the stone desert.

16:30: Arrive Dong Van. Hotel check-in & dinner (try the local black chicken hotpot). Free evening to stroll the lantern-lit Old Quarter; campfire/music when available.

DAY 3: WHITE CLIFF TRAIL – MEO VAC SINKHOLE – TIA CUA SI ROAD [B / L / D]
07:30: Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00: From the Youth Volunteers Monument, hike the White Cliff Trail (~6 km) with balcony views over Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon; classic photo points en route.

11:30: Lunch in Meo Vac with highland specialties.
13:30: Explore the dramatic Meo Vac Sinkhole, among the largest in Ha Giang, with unique vegetation beneath its wide rim.

14:30: Follow the remote Tia Cua Si ridge road for sweeping views over the Nho Que basin toward the long Sam Pun range along the China border. Pass cliff-side H’mong hamlets such as Tia Cua Si, Nia Do, Ca Chua Do.
15:30: Photo stop at the tranquil Nia Do bamboo grove set amid the karst plateau.

16:30: Arrive Meo Vac. Homestay check-in & dinner, free time to browse the Meo Vac night market (when operating).

DAY 4: PHONG LUU CANYON – NHO QUE RIVER CRUISE – BACK TO HA GIANG [B / L / _]
07:30: Breakfast at the homestay.
08:00: (If weekend) browse the lively Meo Vac market for a deeper cultural window.
09:30: Begin a motorboat trip to explore the Nho Que 3 reservoir, check in at the signature rock inside Phong Luu Gorge, enjoy kayaking, and take a refreshing swim in the beautiful stretch of the Nho Que River around the gorge when weather and Nho Que 3 water levels permit.

12:00: Lunch in Bao Lam (Cao Bang).
13:30: Scenic drive back to Ha Giang City along QL34 (Bao Lam – Bac Me), enjoying long river views along the Gam River.
16:00: Arrive Ha Giang City. Freshen up and rest at our office while awaiting your sleeper bus choose an afternoon departure (approx. 16:30–17:00) for same day return, or the night bus (approx. 22:00) arriving early the next morning.
Free time to explore Ha Giang City (own expense).
