DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE - CAN THO (MEALS: LUNCH)
Leave Ho Chi Minh City and head deep into the Mekong Delta, with Cai Be as the first stop of the journey.
Upon arrival in Cai Be, board a local boat and continue to Tan Phong Island, where an enjoyable cycling experience begins through nature, small villages and quiet rural paths. Along the way, there are opportunities to visit local families producing traditional items such as handicrafts made from water hyacinth, palm-leaf roofing, coconut-rope hammocks and rice papers.
Lunch is served in the setting of an old traditional house, featuring specialties of the Mekong Delta.
After lunch, walk through the narrow lanes of a local market to experience the lively atmosphere before returning to the boat and continuing the cruise on the Mekong. As the journey unfolds along the river, guests can observe daily life on the water and enjoy fresh local fruits. The program also includes stops at small family-run businesses such as a rice wine workshop and a rice mill, offering a closer look at local livelihoods.
In the late afternoon, continue by vehicle to Can Tho.

DAY 2: CAN THO - CHAU DOC (MEALS: BREAKFAST)
Wake up early for a breakfast cruise to Cai Rang floating market, one of the Mekong Delta’s most colorful and dynamic river markets.
Here, larger trading boats anchor in place while smaller boats weave in and out through the waterways. Fruit and vegetables are the main goods sold, displayed on long upright poles at the bow so buyers can identify them from a distance.
After visiting Cai Rang and the Can Tho area, continue the journey by road to Chau Doc.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Road distance: approx. 120 km (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours)
Main experiences: floating market, local boat excursion, transfer to Chau Doc
DAY 3: CHAU DOC (MEALS: BREAKFAST)
After breakfast, begin exploring Chau Doc. The first stop is the local market, which overlooks the meeting point of three rivers and reflects the commercial life of this southwestern border town.
Later, take a boat to Chau Giang District, where a small mosque serves the local Cham community. Here, guests can learn more about Cham culture, its historical roots, religious traditions and the silk weaving craft still practiced today.
The visit continues with a beautiful Khmer temple, followed by the floating houses that also function as catfish farms, one of the region’s best-known industries.
In the late afternoon, continue to Sam Mountain, one of the Mekong Delta’s most important pilgrimage sites. From the summit, the views are wide and impressive and, weather permitting, it is possible to see across toward Cambodia.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Main experiences: local market, boat trip, Cham community, silk weaving, Khmer temple, floating fish farms, Sam Mountain

DAY 4: CHAU DOC - HO CHI MINH CITY (MEALS: BREAKFAST)
Enjoy free time in the morning to relax or explore Chau Doc independently until pickup.
Then begin the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. The drive takes around 7 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Road distance: approx. 240 to 260 km (approx. 6.5 to 7.5 hours)
Main experience: leisure time and overland return to Ho Chi Minh City
