A day Cao Dai Temple & Cu Chi Tunnels

DETAILED ITINERARY:
HO CHI MINH CITY - TAY NINH - CAO DAI TEMPLE - CU CHI TUNNELS (MEALS: LUNCH)

Depart Ho Chi Minh City in the morning for the drive to Tay Ninh. Along the way, guests can observe the changing scenery as the city gives way to rice paddies, villages and everyday scenes typical of southern Vietnam.

Upon arrival, visit the Cao Dai Great Temple, an extraordinary religious site with flamboyant architecture and a unique spiritual philosophy. Here, elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Confucianism and other spiritual influences are brought together in a single religious mosaic.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant before continuing to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This remarkable underground network was constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during both the French and American Wars.

During the visit, guests may explore sections of the tunnels and learn about trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, hospitals and command centers hidden below ground. The experience offers deeper insight into wartime life and the resilience of those who lived and fought here.

Depending on operational conditions, the visit may take place in either the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel complex. Guests may also view wartime displays and related historical objects at the site.

In the late afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
