DETAILED ITINERARY:
A DAY IN HO CHI MINH CITY (MEALS: LUNCH)
Depart from the hotel for a full-day exploration of Ho Chi Minh City.
The day begins in Cholon, the city’s historic Chinatown district, where guests can experience its vibrant markets, traditional shops and distinctive cultural atmosphere. Here, the visit includes Thien Hau Pagoda, one of the oldest Chinese-built temples in Ho Chi Minh City, dedicated to the Lady of the Sea.
The journey continues to the FITO Museum, Vietnam’s first museum dedicated to traditional medicine. Its remarkable collection includes around 3,000 objects illustrating the development of traditional Vietnamese medicine, from herbal preparation tools and pharmacy items to ancient books and archival documents.
The route then returns to the city center for a visit to Ben Thanh Market, where guests can walk through one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic market spaces and observe the wide variety of produce, local goods and everyday trade.
Lunch is served before the afternoon sightseeing begins.
In the afternoon, the program includes the War Remnants Museum for insight into Vietnam’s modern history. Depending on the day of travel, the visit continues to either the History Museum or the former Presidential Palace, also known as Reunification Palace.
The day then moves through the major colonial landmarks of old Saigon, including the Central Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, the Continental Hotel, the Opera House and City Hall. A vehicle remains available throughout the city touring.
At the end of the afternoon, return to the hotel.
Driving distance: approx. 25 to 40 km within the city, depending on hotel location and traffic
Total touring time: approx. 8 to 9 hours

Note: the History Museum is closed on Mondays; on those days, the program may be adjusted to include Reunification Palace or another suitable visit
