DETAILED ITINERARY:
HO CHI MINH CITY - CAN GIO MANGROVE FOREST - HO CHI MINH CITY (MEALS: LIGHT BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
07:40AM: Guests meet at Saigon WaterBus Station to begin the journey to Can Gio Mangrove Forest by luxury speedboat.
08:00AM: From here, the speedboat departs southward out of the city. While cruising along the river, guests enjoy a light breakfast of cake, mineral water and seasonal fruits, while taking in the fresh air and observing daily life along the riverbanks.
Upon arrival in Can Gio, the visit begins with an introduction to the flora typical of mangrove forests and the story of this area, from wartime destruction to its present role as an internationally recognized biosphere reserve.
Guests then board a small wooden boat to glide through the mangrove swamps and observe the bat lagoon, listening to the natural sounds coming from the treetops.
The journey continues to the Vam Sat center for a wide panorama over the immense mangrove forest. Activities here include:
- Visiting the bird conservation area during wild bird nesting season from May to October
- Visiting the crocodile farm and learning about the hatching process of saltwater crocodiles
- Optionally joining the crocodile fishing activity from the cruise platform
- Observing the wild long-tailed monkeys that are characteristic of Can Gio, with optional feeding
- Walking along the mangrove paths and crossing a suspension bridge, an enjoyable experience for both adults and children
After the nature exploration, lunch is served at a local restaurant.
01:00PM: At the end of the visit, guests board the luxury speedboat for the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City.
02:00PM: Arrival back in Saigon is expected in the early afternoon.
