DETAILED ITINERARY:
HO CHI MINH CITY - TIEN GIANG - BEN TRE BY LUXURY SPEEDBOAT (MEALS: LIGHT BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
07:40AM: Guests meet at Saigon WaterBus Station to begin the Mekong Delta journey by luxury speedboat.
08:00AM: From here, the speedboat departs southward toward the Mekong region. While cruising along the river, guests enjoy a light breakfast of bakery and mineral water, while taking in the fresh air and observing everyday life along the riverbanks.
The first stop is Tien Giang, where guests visit a local market and Me Mau Temple, a spiritual site deeply rooted in the beliefs of Mekong Delta communities. Local people often come here to pray for prosperity, children and good health.
The journey then continues to Ben Tre, widely known as the “land of coconuts,” celebrated for its lush landscapes and traditional handicraft villages.
The Ben Tre exploration includes:
- Visiting a popped-rice workshop, a coconut candy factory and local handicraft workshops using coconut-based materials
- Optional tasting of snake or scorpion wine
- Enjoying fresh tropical fruits, honey tea, Don Ca Tai Tu folk music, and learning about beekeeping and handmade chocolate making
- Taking a xe lam or tuk tuk ride along peaceful village roads shaded by coconut trees
- Savoring a traditional Mekong-style lunch featuring regional specialties such as deep-fried Elephant-Ear fish, fried banana blossom and local vegetables
- Experiencing a sampan ride through narrow canals surrounded by lush nipa palms and the calm countryside scenery of the Mekong Delta
02:00PM: After lunch and local experiences, guests board the luxury speedboat for the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City.
04:00PM: Arrive back to Ho Chi Minh City
