DETAILED ITINERARY
HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS BY LUXURY SPEEDBOAT (MEALS: LIGHT BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
Guests meet at Saigon Waterbus Station to begin the journey.
From here, the luxury speedboat departs for the Cu Chi Tunnels. While cruising along the Saigon River, guests enjoy a light breakfast on board, mineral water and seasonal fruits, while taking in the fresh air and observing everyday life along the riverbanks.
Upon arrival at Cu Chi, the visit begins with a documentary film introducing one of the most sophisticated man-made tunnel systems of wartime Vietnam, together with the remarkable stories associated with it.
The excursion then continues with a range of site experiences, including:
- Walking through the jungle area and visiting traps, secret entrances, bunkers and underground hideouts
- Optional shooting experience at the rifle range with real guns on display, bullets are not included
- Seeing rice-paper and rice-wine production
- Crawling into sections of the tunnels for a closer sense of the underground environment
- Taking a short break with green tea and tapioca, a simple food closely associated with wartime life
After the visit, guests enjoy a traditional Vietnamese set menu lunch.
In the afternoon, the speedboat returns to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
